Galen University and MOECST Formalize Scholarship Agreement
On Wednesday, August 26, 2026, Galen University welcomed Ms. Dian Maheia, Chief Executive Officer in the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Technology (MOECST), Dr. Cecilia Smith, Deputy Chief Education Officer, and other Ministry representatives to formalize a scholarship agreement.
Through this partnership, Galen University will award annual scholarships in support of the Ministry’s efforts to expand access to higher education for Belizeans. The agreement reflects a shared belief in the opportunities that education can create for individuals and their communities.
