Introduction for non-science majors to concepts of biological order form cellular to community organization levels.  Emphasis on ecological and evolutionary relationships of plants and animals provides a foundation for understanding the importance of conserving nature and natural resources.  Topics in human biology include heredity, development, nutrition, and physiology of drug action.  Two lectures and one two-hour laboratory period per week.
