This course focuses on one or more of the moral and social issues that confront contemporary society (i.e., affirmative action, environmental destruction, treatment of animals, racism/sexism, abortion), or upon the ethical issues that arise within a given profession (e.g. the medical care, mental health, or business professions).The topic s selected by the instructor, who considers student interests in determining the nature of the course in any given semester.
