This course introduces the student to the concept of infinitesimal calculus with both theory and applications. It also prepares the student for the continuation of calculus in the next two calculus courses.
PREREQUISITE(S): MATH-180 or its equivalent, or consent of the department. (Most students whose background includes success in three years of high school mathematics will be well prepared for this course.)
