This course shows the student how to use statistics as an aid in decision-making.  Topics covered include data summarizing, probability distributions, inferences about means and proportions, linear regression and correlation.  The course aims to treat statistics as an aid to decision-making and to familiarize students with basic concepts of statistics and their application.
