IREL-311 CULTURAL AND POLITICAL ECOLOGY

Study of cultural, economic, demographic, and political dimensions of resource use and environmental change, focusing on these issues and their linkages at and across multiple spatial and temporal scales. Explores people’s strategies for managing natural resources and ensuring their cultural and social reproduction, focusing primarily on peasant and indigenous societies in different parts of the world.
