The hospitality industry has become very dependent on an array of computer based systems to perform many of the basic functions of the business. Marketing, accounting, analysis, rate determination, reservations, environmental controls, payment processing and human resource management all depend on sophisticated systems and the Internet to function in today’s competitive environment. This course will introduce the student to the various systems used n the hospitality industry, how they function and the role each plays in the delivery of service and management of the business.
