The course is intended to familiarize the students with the concepts of geography (including map interpretation) as they relate to travel and tourism. Building upon the foundational concepts of geography, the course moves on to cover major cultural and environmental motivations for tourism; major tourism flow patterns; and predominate international tourist regions.
