Reading Strategies for Multilingual Classrooms will explore the impact the diversity of Belize's language has on the education system and, in particular, how this affects the teaching of literacy.  Student teachers will be exposed to and have opportunities to practice a variety of techniques for teaching literacy to students whose first language is not English.  (Note this course is adapted from the Associate in Primary Education program).
