(3 CREDITS) The course addresses the major problems of developing countries, the subject of which is relatively new. Students will be presented with real-world experiences of developing countries, and the fact that these experiences are diverse. The limitations of growth theory in addressing economic development problems will be given emphasis. the importance of natural resources and environment, institutions and politics will be highlighted.
