CHEM-150 GENERAL CHEMISTRY I |

(4 CREDITS) Study of the basic principles related to the composition and structure of matter, the changes in matter, and the energy changes that accompany these changes in matter. Three hours of lecture and one two-hour laboratory per week. PREREQUISITE(S): One semester of college chemistry with a grade of C or better, or two semesters of high school chemistry within the past four years with a grade of B or better and demonstrated proficiency in general mathematics and algebra (equivalent of MATH- 105 or above), or consent of instructor.
