Galen University offers a local tuition rate to all Belizean citizens and permanent residents whose qualifications are from Belize. This is in keeping with the university’s commitment to the sustainable development of Belize.

Student Loans - Loans must be applied for before the semester begins.

The student loan program is offered to Galen students and is intended to cover costs for 6 semesters in a 24 month period. The arrangement differs depending on the final loan amount, and whether you are following a graduate or undergraduate program. If you are interested in discussing the loan option, please make an appointment with our Chief Financial Officer who can explain this option in detail.

Payment Options: Cash/Installments

Cash Payment - Cash Payment is for students who will pay the semester's tuition and Fees in full by the last day of the Drop & Add Period. These students must make a deposit of $500.00 when registering. Students paying in full by the deadline receive a 10% discount on tuition only. No exceptions will be made to the deadline date. The discount will be determined after payment is made and either applied to future charges or refunded by check if the student will NOT be at Galen University the following semester.

Installment Payment - Installment Agreements are interest free and are for students who will pay their tuition and fees in full during the semester. Installment students must pay a minimum of $500.00 as their first installment payment prior to the beginning of classes. There is a $30.00 installment fee and late installment payments accrue a $25.00 late fee.

On Campus Work-Study Program

There is a limited number of part-time, on-campus jobs made available to students. Students are compensated in the form of tuition reduction and/or wages. Available jobs are announced at the beginning of every semester and are posted on the main bulletin board of the University.
