Environmental Science is a multidisciplinary field. It incorporates and applies knowledge from the biological, physical and social sciences in order to develop a broad scientific understanding of human impact on the environment. A degree in environmental science allows students to pursue career options in both the public and private sectors. A few of the job titles they can hold are: environmental consultants, water quality assessment and monitoring specialists, toxicologists, wildlife park managers/directors, and, regulatory compliance officers. Environmental science also prepares students for entry into graduate programs in biological, social, and physical sciences.
